Dear Netters,

I'd like to know the point of contact at Chulalongkorn University in
Thailand. I learned that they have done some research in Thai natural
language proccessing, particually in word boundary segmentation.
Any information on this (such as e-mail address, fax number or surface mail
address) will be appreciated. Please reply to me directly at YENKasq8.bah.com

A colleague not on the list is looking for textbooks to use in an
undergraduate course in Structure of Modern English. Many but not all
students are in a program designed to prepare them for teaching English at
the secondary school level. There are no prerequisites in linguistics,
though intro to linguistics courses are offered in other departments.
Please send responses directly to Harriet Luria Johnson

thanks

Could the reinterpretation of HAVE as OF be by analogy with
SORT OF? E.g.

I sort of said that.
I could of said that.

etc...
