A colleague of mine who's not on the Internet is looking for information on
a conference called Conference on Language and Busines, to be held at
Eastern Michigan University at Ypsilanti Michiganin April 95.

If anyone has any details of this event, could you please email me the
details on:

Thanks

Could a caritative soul point me to bibliographic references about
point of view in narrative, specially in children? Thanks

This is a request on behalf of a student not on the net. She is working on the
use of the French expression "la question de savoir si", namely in which
 context
the indirect question is impossible and must be expressed by the sentence
" la question de savoir si".
Ex.: *si Pierre est venu m'interesse --) la question de savoir si Pierre
est venu m'interesse".
She will appreciate receiving all kind of information in this regard
(bibliography, references, etc.).
Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for your response. Actually, at this point, all I need
is a couple of references regarding language discrimination in the workplace,
specifically, Spanish. All I have found so far are articles about language
discrimination on Nexis. I need to submit a preliminary report for my project
that will include several research sources, bulletin boards and the Internet
are one source. Other sources include Lexis/Nexis, Dow Jones, Dialog and CD-
Roms. If you could point me in the right direction of any articles on this
topic I would appreciate it. If I am not going about this the right way,
please let me know. My project is due in two weeks. At this point, I have to
show the instructor that I am availing myself of some of the different inform-
ation sources. Thank you.
