POSITION AVAILABLE

 GMD-KONTEXT,
the Natural Language Research and Development Unit of
The Gesellschaft fuer Mathematik und Datenverarbeitung mbH
 Darmstadt, Germany

invites applications for a two-year position in the TELEX project.

The TELEX-project is a cooperation project with the Humboldt-University,
Berlin (Prof. Kunze).
It is the goal of the project to make the theory of

are described and structured in accordance with the theory.
For modelling an object-oriented database is used.

The applicability of the lexical database is shown prototypically in the
KONTEXT text analysis system. The text analysis system is based on a graph
unification formalism (the Context Feature Structure System).

Applicants should have
- a degree in computer science and/or computational
 linguistics
- expertise in at least one of the following areas:
 - knowledge representation
 - object oriented database systems
