For those of you looking for Windows 3.1 fonts for specific languages, here are some packages I haven't seen mentioned yet. They're all available through DataCal (call 1-800-237-6206 or fax 1-602-545-8090). WorldFont 2.1 -- comes with one font each for: Arabic, Armenian, Belgian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Cyrillic, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, French-Canadian, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Latin American, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Slovakian, Spanish, Swiss, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian. $200 for all fonts WorldFont SLS -- comes with five fonts for each: Armenian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Estonian, Europe, Hebrew 1, Hebrew 2, Hungarian, Latvian, Macedonian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian. $100 for one + start-up; $60 for each one without start-up WorldFont United Nations -- WorldFont 2.1 + all 18 (sic) WorldFont SLS. $400 All the WorldFonts come with TrueType and PostScript fonts. Accent -- word processor with spell-checker for Windows 3.1, works in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, Icelandic, Portuguese, Swedish, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Serbian, Belorussian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, and Turkish. I wouldn't mind making up an FAQ document if people would be willing to send me all the information they have on foreign language fonts. It seems like this question is being asked every few months or so, especially (but not exclusively) for Windows 3.1. I expect a good deal of redundancy, but I do think we should have a comprehensive list (of both commercial & non-comm- ercial fonts, for all systems).
