Not long ago, somebody posted a query about whether any of Culioli's work was a vailable in English. I just found out yesterday about the forthcoming publicati on of a book that would be very relevant. Michel Liddle (Lettres francaises, Un iversity of Ottawa, CANADA) has translated Culioli's well-known DEA Seminar of 1983-84 plus various smaller publications pertaining to Antoine Culioli's Enunc iative Model of language. This will be published, together with an introduction and commentary by Liddle, under the title "Cognition and Representation in Lin guistic Theory", as volume 112 of the Current Issues in Linguistic Theory serie s published by John Benjamins (Amsterdam and Philadelphia). According to the se ries editor, Konrad Koerner (koernerMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueacadvm1.uottawa.ca), it will appear before the end of 1994. The goal is to publish it shortly before September 30, 1994, which is Culioli's 70th birthday. Sheila Embleton York University, Toronto, CANADA
