Lectureship in Linguistics Department of English University of Queensland Brisbane Australia 4072 (1) Qualifications and duties: The Appointee will be expected to teach, research and undertake supervision in the Linguistics section of the English Department. Applicants should possess a PhD degree and preferably have a number of publications. Preference is for a candidate who combines expertise in one or more areas of linguistic theory (morphology, syntax, semantics, phonology) with a demonstrated interest in or commitment to develop a program of empirical research in an area of linguistics relevant to language in Australia. Ability to teach in some area of applied linguistics would also be an advantage.
