In advance of the 1994 meeting of the Eastern States Conference on Linguistics, to be held at the University of South Carolina on the weekend of September 30-October 2, we would like to generate interest in the hosting of the 1995 and/or 1996 meeting. At this time, the Linguistics Program at Dartmouth University has expressed an interest in hosting the 1995 meeting, although their plans are not yet definite. If Dartmouth is able to secure funding by the time of this year's conference, then we would entertain proposals at the business meeting for hosting the 1996 conference. If it turns out that Dartmouth cannot host the 1995 meeting, then proposals for hosting that meeting would also be entertained. Anyone interested in hosting the meeting in 1995 or 1996 should contact me directly. ******************************************************************* * Stanley Dubinsky E-mail: dubinskMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueunivscvm.csd.scarolina.edu * * Linguistics Program phone: 803-777-2056 * * U of South Carolina fax: 803-777-9064 * * Columbia, SC 29208 * *******************************************************************
