The Yuen Ren Society for the Promotion of Chinese Dialect Fieldwork Conference on Fresh Dialect Data, March '96 (third call) Are you bored with Chinese linguistics the way it is practiced nowadays? Why not come to the next meeting of the Yuen Ren Society, or submit your original data to the next issue of our journal? The next meeting of the Society will be in March, 1996, in conjunction with the 206th Annual Meeting of the American Oriental Society, in Philadephia. This will be an open panel discussion of a number of original reports on Chinese dialects, all of which will appear in the next issue of the Society's journal, the _Treasury_. Submissions are now being accepted.
