I've recently made a new searchable database of linguist list back
issues which I thought might be of interest to others (as it has a
complete archive, a friendly search interface, and is reasonably fast).
It is built with the Harvest software (which I heartily recommend for
Unix-based full text indexing), and there is a Web interface, usable by
any Web browser that supports forms (e.g., Netscape, Mosaic), available
at the following URL:
