1. The LINGUIST List, LINGUIST Job Listing

As a service to its subscribers, LINGUIST is now maintaining
a page of links to all LINGUIST job-issues posted this year.
Since most jobs in linguistics are now advertised through the
list, this listing is probably fairly complete, and will, we
hope, be of use both to job-candidates and to those who are
interested in the present state of our discipline. We might
observe that we were somewhat surprised to see that some
hundreds of jobs were advertised through the list this year.
This is a much larger number than we thought we'd find!
