>The University of California at Berkeley seeks a Director for the Berkeley
>Language Media Center. This person must have a broad vision of the
>goals and methods of language pedagogy and the integration of technology
>into foreign language learning as well as strong managerial and
>administrative skills.
>The Language Media Center Director is responsible for the acquisition,
>development and delivery of state-of-the-art language learning materials
>on the Berkeley campus. Working with a professional staff of 8, the
>Director: educates faculty, staff, and students in the use of
>language learning technology; consults with faculty in language,
>literature, and culture to determine their needs and goals;
>coordinates technology-based materials development and delivery
>with other relevant campus units; obtains internal and external
