We are looking for people who will fit well into the group on a permanent basis, rather than for a specific project. A good computer science or linguistics background is important, as are excellent programming skills. Top quality computer scientists without any previous experience of Natural Language Processing are encouraged to apply, as well as people with experience in the area. For more information about these openings, and about Canon Research Centre Europe in general, our URL is http://www.cre.canon.co.uk/. Our work ranges from long-term basic research to solving specific problems quickly, and from interactive spoken dialogue systems to large-scale text translation.
