Content-Length: 727 In an era when we have little time to read anything that doesn't appear on our computer screens, it looked like the best way for the Yale University Department of Linguistics to let people know about our faculty, programs, etc. was to set up a WWW page. So we did: http://www.cis.yale.edu/linguist/ The usual disclaimer applies: the page is still being developed, it will contain more useful and exciting information in the near future than it has now, etc., But it seems appropriate that our self-advertisement is still being constructed, since (as many of you will recall), after the travails of a few years ago, the Department itself is getting off to a bright new start too these days. Check us out. --Steve AndersonMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issue
