The Linguistic Association of Finland Morphology Workshop September 29 - October 1, 1995 Mekrij=84rvi Research Station (University of Joensuu) Ilomantsi, Finland Invited speakers: Andrew Spencer topic: recent trends in morphology Kimmo Koskenniemi topic: computational morphology Tapani Lehtinen topic: grammaticalization and morphology The workshop is directed to graduate students and researchers interested in recent developments in morphology. The participants are given the possibility to present their own research at the workshop. The language of the workshop is English. The participation fee of 400 FIM covers board and lodging at the Research Station and the bus ride from Joensuu to Mekrijrvi on Friday September 29 (departure 8:30 am) and the return ride on Sunday (departure 2:30 pm) (ride time c. 1 hr.). Detailed information about the workshop program and other activities will be sent to those who have returned their registration forms to us in due time.
