 We plan to organise the work of the following sections:
1. Theoretical and methodological aspects of language
 conscience.
2. Intercultural communication and image of the world.
3. Psycholinguistic problems of intercultural education.
4. Cognitive approach in the analysis of language
 conscience.
5. Text as a means of fixation of language conscience.
6. Political discourse in psycholinguistic aspect.
7. Ontogenesis of language conscience.
8. Identification of personality by speech.

 Thesis should meet the following demands:
1. Volume: 1 or 2 full pages.
2. Two copies.
3. 1,5 intervals, 58 signs in a line, 38 lines on the page.
4. Type of paper A4, white colour, margins everywhere 3 cm.
5. In the right upper corner should be your family name and
 initials (your city in brackets).
6. The title of thesis in the middle in capital letters.
7. No bibliography in thesis, pease (you may mention names
 in brackets).

 Please add to the thesis the following information:
1. Family name, First name.
3. The title of the thesis.
4. Preferred section.
5. Affiliation, position, scientific degree.
6. Working address, telephone, fax, e-mail.

 e-mail.
8. The necessity of living in a hotel.
9. Date, signature.

The working language of the Symposium is supposed to
be Russian, though thesis in English are accepted.

 It is desirable to send also a diskette with thesis and
the above-mentioned information. Please also send it by
e-mail.
 The thesis would not be returned or commented.
 The deadline for receiving the thesis is 24:00 P.M.

 You will be informed about the results by the 1-st of
March 1997.
 (But the earlier you send the thesis the earlier you
will get the news.)

Conference sessions:
PLENARY SESSIONS : Special Lectures by key-note speakers
 Prof. Peter Ladefoged(UCLA) 
 Prof. John Wells(University of London)
 Prof. Hiroya Fujisaki(Science University of Tokyo)
REGULAR SESSIONS : Papers will report on individual research in 
		 phonetics, phonology, speech technology, speech 
		 pathology, and language teaching. Each speaker 
	 	 will be allotted 15 minutes for presentation and 
		 5 minutes for		 discussion.

The official languages of the conference: Korean/English Abstracts and
Pre-registration forms should be sent to the address below by July 31,
1996. The abstract should include

1. Four(4) copies of a one-page abstract(no more than 500 words) with
a title.
2. A 3" by 5" card with the title of the paper, the name of the
author(s), the mailing address, and the author's affiliation and
e-mail/fax numbers.
