Nagoya University of Commerce and Business Administration - JAPAN NAGOYA SHOKA DAIGAKU English Language and Linguistics Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor Applications are invited for positions as English language teaching faculty. Applicants should possess a doctorate degree in a relevant field (Linguistics, English Literature, Education). A strong and proven record of scholarly achievement expected. Applicants should have native-like fluency in English. Knowledge of CAI and CALL, MacOS networking experience, basic familarity with UNIX, ability to develop multi-media materials and a proven record of innovative methodology sought. The successful applicants will be instrumental in the establishment of a new Department of English Communication. Faculty normally teach eight 90-minute periods per week. Current basic salary scale per annum: Lecturer: 7.5-8.0 million Yen; Associate Professor: 8.2-8.7 million Yen; Full Professor: 9.0-9.5 million Yen. The initial contract of employment is generally for a minimum period of two years. Thereafter, pending the mutual agreement of employer and employee, the contract is renewable annually. Accommodation is not provided, however every assistance is given in finding suitable housing. Financial assistance in the form of an interest-free advance for arrival expenses and a low-interest car loan is available. Return air-fare and moving allowance provided. Nagoya University of Commerce and Business Administration was established as an institution in 1935 and as a University in 1953. The student body is 3,700 with the affiliated Women's Junior College having 650 students. The Yuichi Kurimoto Memorial Graduate School of Business Administration offers an MBA program.
