CALL FOR PAPERS, POSTERS, AND COLLOQUIA SECOND LANGUAGE RESEARCH FORUM '97 (SLRF '97) October 16 - 19, 1997 Michigan State University East Lansing, Michigan Conference Theme: SLA Across Languages All topics related to SLA research will be considered. Paper presentations may be either 30 minutes (20 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion) or 45 minutes (35 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion). Colloquia will be allotted two hours. Submissions should include: - Four copies of a one-page abstract (300 words maximum), 3 anonymous and one including the name of the author(s) and affiliation(s) In the upper right-hand corner please state whether your abstract is for a paper or a poster and whether you would prefer a 30 or 45 minute time slot. For colloquium submissions please include a summary statement as well as abstracts of individual papers.
