We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. I'm a student at Eotvos University, Budapest, and I'm
currently working on a paper on Vowel problems of Arabic speakers of
English. Apart from the huge amount of empirical work, I would like to
have some theoretical data as well. I was wondering if you could send
me any information concerning the topic, or tell me about information
sources either on the net or elsewhere. Thank you for your time.

Hi!

I'm interested in an overview of the range of semantic possibilities
for noun number categories across languages. Does anyone out there
know of a good article, book chapter, etc.?

Thanks,
