This international meeting brought together a range of researchers interested in using these techniques to address theoretical and practical issues. The papers from this symposium were published in a special edition of the European Journal of Disorders of Communication (1995), Vol 30, No 2, edited by Fiona Gibbon and Colin Watson. Since the last symposium there have been exciting new developments in both technologies and the applications of these techniques are expanding.
