The Division of Computational Linguistics in the Dept. of Linguistics at the University of Tuebingen, Germany is searching for a (Computational) Linguist with research experience in lexical semantics and lexicography and near native competence in German to work in a research project on the construction of a lexical-semantic net for German and on methods of lexical-semantic disambiguation. The successful candidate would be expected to take up the position as soon as possible and to work in close cooperation and partly at the facilities of a dictionary publisher at Stuttgart. The positions are at the rank of "Wissenschaftlicher Angestellter" (salary on the German pay-scale of BAT IIa; minimum of 70 000 DM per year). The position is available until December 31st, 1998.
