General Session: Theoretical and descriptive linguistics on Chinese
 and other languages spoken in China

Parasession: Interactions in Language: Form and Function

Room and board and an honorarium to be used towards travel expenses
will be provided for selected scholars among the presenters.

Deadline for abstracts: June 3, 1996!!!
Notification of acceptance: July 24, 1996
Deadline for full papers: October 15, 1996

Abstract: Anonymous, no longer than two type-written pages. An
additional page for data and references can also be included.
Please include the title of your paper, along with your name,
affiliation, phone and fax numbers, mailing address, and e-mail
address on a separate page. (Fax or e-mail submissions are
acceptable.)
