The Chinese Linguistics Page provides anyone who is interested in this
unique language with an UNofficial place to exchange and disseminate
linguistic information via modern technology. You are welcome to
browse it and make contributions to it; and to communicate with its
maintainers: Wenze Hu (wenzhumagnus.ohio-state.edu) and Hongyin Tao
(chstaohynus.sg).

Thank you for you attention.

Message 2: Update to Language Conference List

Date: Sun, 07 Jul 1996 05:52:30 EDT
From: "Roy F. Cochrun" <royfcochclark.net>
Subject: Update to Language Conference List

The language conference list located on the WWW at URL
http://www.clark.net/pub/royfc/confer.html has been updated
with over 70 new conferences since the 19 April edition.

The list includes conferences for anyone interested in any aspect of
natural language: linguists, translators, interpreters, teachers of
languages (even one's own native language to native speakers, such as
English in American high schools), those who are involved in natural
language processing, et al.

In searching for conferences for this update, I found several Web
locations that list jobs for linguists on a somewhat regular basis, so
those links are included.

Thank you to all who sent me conferences to add to the list. Please
check to assure it is there and correct.

As usual, changes, updates, corrections or comments via e-mail to
royfcochclark.net, please.
