Hi all, Currently I am working on different formats for questions and I found a citation (E. Hermann ''Probleme der Frage'', 1942, p. 357) about Taulipang stating that it has wh-questions without wh-pronouns of the following form: au-i:dzi-ma 'you are' = what are you doing? 1. Is this a correct question-format in Taulipang? 2. Is it the common / default format for wh-questions? 3. In general, which forms of wh-questions exist in Taulipang? Apart from that, do you know of any other language which allows wh-questions with gaps instead of interrogative (or corresponding indefinite) pronouns? Thanx for your help.
