Dear Linguists, For my doctoral research I am currently looking for books and articles discussing the WRITTEN language of formerly illiterate people participating in literacy programs. I am particularly interested in frequently recurring 'problems' on the level of grammar, style and spelling. Similar studies on the problems of young children acquiring the basic writing skills are also of interest to me. I will be happy to post a summary of your suggestions.
