Visiting Asst. Prof./Instructor of Chinese. 

One year appointment,with the possibility of a second year, 
non-tenure-track, to begin Aug. 1998. All levels of language
instruction, three courses per semester. Ph. D. preferred, ABD
considered, native or near-native fluency. Evidence of outstanding
teaching and scholarly potential. MLA INTERVIEWS. Send letter of
