Dear linguist-listers, I need your help! I am a master's student, currently working on adjectives derived from proper names (e.g., Freudian, Chomskian, etc..). Does anyone know of any litterature on referential adjectives or anything else, published or unpublished, relevant to the syntax of adjectives? I know there must be something out there, I just can't find it! Thanks, M. WinloMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issue
A student of mine would like to do honors research on Duplex and business communications- specifically, he is most interested in the effect of the speakerphone on turn-taking, politeness/face, or similar areas. Could anyone help with references? (Even semi-relevant references would be appreciated.) Please respond directly to: Jon Salvadori; jsalvMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueintergate.sdcoe.k12.ca.us He will be happy to post a summary. Hello, My Name is Kate Lyon and I am a student at The College of Wooster, and I am in the process of completing my Junior Independent Study on Landau-Kleffner Syndrome. I am looking for Speech-Language Pathologists that are involved with this communicative disorder. If you could please assist me in this process it would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
