Tenure-Track Position in Linguistics The Department of Linguistics at the University of Calgary invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor. Primary research interests should be in one or more of the following areas: morphology, semantics, and grammaticalization. An additional research emphasis in one of the following areas would be an asset: languages of the Americas, in particular Spanish and/or aboriginal languages of North America; sociolinguistics; neurolinguistics or psycholinguistics. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Linguistics. The position will commence on July 1, 1998, and candidates should have a Ph.D. in Linguistics by this date.
