Qs: addresses needed, textbook advice needed

Editor for this issue: Elaine Halleck <elainelinguistlist.org>

We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Message 1: Journal of Semantics' address

Subject: Journal of Semantics' address

Hello all.

Although I have made some attempts in that direction, I seem unable
to get an adress to get in touch with the Journal of Semantics,
which is not subscribed to in any library I have visited lately. If a
charitable soul could care to take a few minutes to write me how to
get in touch with the editorship of that journal, of which I would
like to know about its scientific orientation, stylesheet and the
like, I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Pierre Larrivee

Can anyone recommend a good textbook for an advanced
undergraduate course on Introduction to Cognitive
Semantics? I have used John Taylor's Linguistic
Categorization plus readings, but I'd like to look
at more recent textbooks.

Subject: Address for International Association of Sign Linguistics

The email address I found via the Linguist website for more information
about and membership to the International Association of Sign
Linguistics was incorrect (and the webpage dates back to 1995). Could
anyone sugest who/how to get of them?

Thanks, Leah Klearman
