A friend of mine is writing an MA thesis on "English 'food and drink' idioms". She would like to include the etymology of the idioms gathered together with some background on the approach techniques and their realization in transaltion of idioms as well as the approach towards them in the subject of teaching - what are the effective ways of teaching them.
