1. The LINGUIST List, LINGUIST Topics Pages: Ebonics

As a service to subscribers, LINGUIST has decided to begin producing
web pages which summarize topics which are either of linguistic
importance, of pedagogical value, or of considerable current interest.
These topic pages will include the discussion which has taken place on
the list, as well as any ancillary information which might be
relevant. Since we've heard many of you are using the ebonics
discussion in class, this will be our first topics page. It's now
available at any LINGUIST site, under the subdirectory
