Hi, One of our students here is working on a project on bilingual processing. In particular, he wants to investigate whether bilingual subjects perform significantly differently in particular types of priming experiments. He has looked at a wide range of literature on bilingualism in general, and on priming experiments. The question he wanted me to aski is whether any of you know of any relevant recent work, particularly experimental work, in this area. Please reply to me and I'll summarise later. Thanks for your help. Billy. ******************************************* Billy Clark, Middlesex University, Trent Park, Bramley Road, London N14 4XS. Tel: 181-362 6555. Dear List members - I have been asked for suggestions for an appropriate textbook to use for a graduate level course on childhood bilingualism, something more recent than McLaughlin's 1984 classic set. Students will be from linguistics, speech and hearing sciences, and education. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I will be happy to post a summary to the list. Thank you!
