Hi, I wonder if any of you can help me out. I'm looking for examples of overgeneralizations of the Dative Alternation in English. I have Mazurkewich and White's 1984 paper (The acquisition of the dative alternation: Unlearning overgeneralizations) and a few other sundry examples. Does anyone know where I might find more examples? If anyone wants a summary of whatever I receive, please mail me. Thanks for your help, Bethan. - ----------------------------------------------- Bethan Daultrey E-mail: bethanMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueollamh.ucd.ie Snail-mail: Linguistics Dept. I am looking for corpora of spoken Spanish, both Peninsular and Latin American, preferably available for downloading. A promising link to the Universidad Aut=F3'onoma de Madrid turned out to be no longer in service. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am Brazilian and work at Universidade Federal do Para (Amazonia).I am writing a research paper about the use of Discourse Markers vs. ideology and culture. I'd appreciate comments and suggestions on this topic. I'd also like to contac colleagues who are interested in the study of markers across languages/cultures. For that reason I created a home page which has a specialized bibliography with over 500 references on markers and related entities at: http://www.ufpa.br/~megan Pay a visit to it. If you have a paper about markers I'd be glad to include it in my bibliography, in case it is not there yet. Please tell me about your experience/research that might help me with my task. Thanks in advance, Megan Duque EstradaMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issue
