To the Linguist List, I would be very grateful for any references or other information you might know of regarding the first language acquisition of Experiencer subjects e.g. "Jerry fears monsters" "David is cold", both in languages such as English where these subjects are morphologically non-distinct from Agentive Subjects (with respect to Case and Agreement) and, more especially, in languages where these subjects pattern morphologically or distributionally with oblique arguments (e.g. "dative subjects"). (I know that there has been some recent discussion of the analysis of dative subjects on this list; here, though, I am specifically interested in Acquisition research/data bearing on the issue). Please send all replies directly to me at the address below, and I will post a summary. Thank you very much. I'm going to execute an experiment of 2nd Lng. Acq. But I cannot find any data of Russian. What I need is some data of word frequencies of Russian words that I can use in Lexical Decision experiment. If somebody has such data or knows how to get this, please response to me. Dear listers, I am trying to find a software for word60 which would allow me to count the times a certain word occurs in a document and would also give me a list of all its occurrences. If you happen to have one available, or know where and how I could get one, please contact me at my e-mail address. Thanks a lot.
