Dear netters, A colleague of mine( Rhonwen Bowen), who is not on the list, is doing a PhD on noun complementation and is looking for any recent references on the subject. For instance, does anyone have a copy of N. Fraipont, Univ. of Liege, MA thesis 1985-86 entitled: "(Phrase) + that (Clause Complementation)". Dear Linguist members, I am looking for a particular paper which discusses the relation between phonetic features and articulatory movements. I recall having seen it a few years ago in a journal. As far as I can recall, the paper was written by Morris Halle. A colleague of mine also remembered the paper and found a very plausible title but not the right reference. I have not yet been able to find it. Can anyone help? author: Morris Halle (?) title: On distinctive features and their articulatory implementation (?)
