On November 11, 1996, the Queens College, City University of New York community lost a great scholar, teacher, and student advocate: R.M.R. (Mike) Hall. The Department of Linguistics of Queens College is organizing a memorial gathering: R.M.R. Hall Memorial Service Thursday, May 15, 1997 5:00 - 6:30 P.M. Godwin-Ternbach Museum Klapper Hall Queens College of CUNY The evening's program will include light refreshments, music, and brief speeches. Anyone wishing to attend the service, make a short speech, and/or make a contribution to the R.M.R. Hall Memorial Fund (perpetual endowment for the R.M.R.
