WANTED: Native Thai speaker with linguistics background for tasks related to natural-language processing applications. Verification of corpora for syllable, word, and sentence boundaries. Part-of-speech labeling. Definition of rules to detect Thai syllable boundaries. Definition of Thai grammar rules in a context-free format. Applicant will work on a project sponsored by the University of Maryland's Computational Linguistics and Information Processing Laboratory (CLIP). This is a short term consulting position for which the applicant may not have to relocate.
