Michael Bernstein at Cascadilla Press has asked us to remind you
that this is the last week that you will be able to donate to
the LINGUIST Editorial Support Fund via credit card. 

As you recall, Michael offered us the use of Cascadilla's web site for
this during the month of April. And we at LINGUIST are heartily
grateful to him for this convenience. We are also very grateful to
the persons and institutions listed below. Their donations, and
yours, will help us to fund the 1997-1998 LINGUIST Fellowships.

The fellowships are being awarded to Elaine Halleck (Eastern Michigan
U.) and Marty Jacobson (Texas A&M). And as soon as we're absolutely
sure we can pay them, we'll introduce them to you at greater length.
So please continue to support the LINGUIST Editorial Support Fund. We
are eager to continue and even expand LINGUIST services in 1997; but
we do need your donations to cover our operating expenses.
