The Department of Linguistics at Harvard announces a one-semester nontenured position, Lecturer on Linguistics, for the fall term, 1997 (September 1997-January 1998). Candidates must demonstrate expertise in historical linguistics and be prepared to offer an undergraduate-level introduction to historical linguistics and a graduate-level course in historical and comparative linguistics.
