I made a query about English journals specializing in Japanese linguistics in February. I am very sorry for posting this summary so late. Three people have kindly replied to me. William Armour at the University of New South Wales and Bill McClure at Queens College/CUNY Graduate Center told me of the following journal: Journal of East Asian Linguistics (ed. by Jim Huang and Mamoru Saito), published by Kluwer Academic Press A publisher who is devoted to Chinese, Japanese and Korean syntax, semantics, pragmatics, phonolgy and morphology plus other fields... Melanie Siegel at DFKI - Deutsches Forschungszentrum fuer Kuenstliche Intelligenz GmbH sent me the following information: "I could only give you a hint: On the www-page 'http://www.dfki.uni-sb.de:80/~siegel/japanese_cl_lit.html ' you can find literature on Japanese _computational_ linguistics. ............. The other one can be found in the entry of Nagao 1995: 'Journal of the Information Processing Society of Japan". My sincere thanks to the above three people. - -------------------------------- Takame Ueki-Sabine T.U.SabineMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issueutas.edu.au School of Asian Languages and Studies University of Tasmania GPO Box 252-91, Hobart, Tasmania Australia 7001 <Ph> 61-3-6226-2360 <Fax> 61-3-6226-7813 - --------------------------------
