Cognitive Scientists: The proposal for new National Institutes of Health grant review panels for the behavioral sciences has been released on the web: www.csr.nih.gov/review/bssmain.htm Cognitive research is primarily represented in BBS-1 (animal behavior), BBS-3 (language & communication), BBS-4 (cognition & perception), BBS-5 (adult disorders), BBS-6 (developmental disorders), BBS-7 (motor & speech control). There are intentional overlaps among the panels. The public comment period lasts through October 9. You may take this opportunity to send your input to the email address provided at the website.
