The Department of Computing at Macquarie University in Sydney,
Australia has a couple of tenurable faculty positions coming up:
information is at

	http://www.comp.mq.edu.au/position/98-ad2.htm

The University already houses Australia's largest NLP presence; see
http://www.mri.mq.edu.au/ltg/. The department has an agreed long-term
goal of establishing an undergraduate program in language technology,
so applications from people with NLP/Language Technology backgrounds
may well be looked upon favourably.

Closing date is 23 November 1998; you need to obtain an application
package. I'd be more than happy to field informal queries about these
positions.
