Neurophysiology of Language. The position requires the individual to develop and to sustain a program of research using electrophysiological and/or imaging techniques to study linguistic processing and/or language production, provide research training to Ph.D. students, supervise Ph.D. dissertations and teach introductory and advanced courses at the doctoral level. The candidate should have a strong background in linguistics or psycholinguistics and an interest in populations with language disorders. Qualifications include a record of empirical and scholarly publications, a Ph.D. or equivalent, and a record of success in teaching and mentoring doctoral students. Appointment may be made at a junior or senior professorial level.
