I am doing an extensive research on textbooks used for teaching Spanish in
French-speaking universities. I would appreciate a lot, if you can provide
me with the reference and your comments about the particular textbook.
I'll post the summary.

hello !

If any one knows a book written by the linguist Jean Aitchison and published
( I think) in 1981. Please kindly let me know how I can get it. I came
accross this book in 1989.

I have recently been taken to task with my use of "y'all"
but not singular vs. plural. My friend says the correct
way is "ya'll in the south.
We both live in and grew up in Florida.
Perhaps the problem is she grew up in Jacksonville, me in Tallahassee.
