Dear Colleagues, I'm writing to pass on some new information about the doctoral program that I'm in, PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology, at the Univ of South Florida. This unique interdisciplinary degree allows for potential employment in SLA, Instruct Tech, or Education. Since most of the research we do here is practical/classroom-oriented, I thought some list members considering a move back to school to get a doctorate might be interested in our program. I'm making this announcement NOW because we have a new fellowship award of _$10,000_ with a 9-hour tuition waiver. This is for new students only. Min requirements: GRE of 1200 (1250 preferred) and GPA (MA) of 3.5. Application to the program is REQUIRED to be considered for the fellowship.
