The Sogang Language Program (SLP), housed in Sogang University's English Institute, develops general and intensive English instruction for young children, aging from preschoolers to middle school students. SLP is the sole program developed by and connected with a university in Korea and it has been highly reputable for the past several years. APPLICANTS should be: Native English Speaker or Bilingual in English and Korean, having minimum B.A. degree. SLP prefers: Major in Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary Education, TESOL or English Literature & Linguistics. WORKING CONDITIONS are: One year renewable contract; Workload of 18 80 min. (24 contact hrs.) classes plus 10-15 hrs. of preparation per week; Monday thru Saturday work schedule; 10-12 days of yearly vacation (at the end of July & December); medical insurance; round trip airfare; furnished housing; severance pay. MONTHLY SALARY : varies from W1.2M to W1.7M depending on qualification and experience.
