Professor in Linguistics, with a Specialization in Lexical Semantics

The Department of Linguistics and Translation invites applications for a full-
time tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in linguistics, with
a specialization in lexical semantics.

Responsibilities:
The appointed candidate will be expected to teach at all three levels of the
curriculum, supervise graduate students, engage in ongoing research and
publication, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the
University.

Requirements:
PhD in linguistics or other related fields; candidates who have not yet
completed their PhDs but have defended their thesis by the time of
employment (June 1, 2013) will also be considered Specialization in lexical
semantics and demonstrated interest in natural language processing (NLP)
Teaching experience Research and publications in the relevant areas
Proficiency in the French language. The Université de Montréal is a Québec
