The Department of Linguistics of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, commencing July 1, 2013. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in linguistics, specializing in one of the following two areas: (1) sociophonetics; (2) laboratory phonology / computational phonology. Preference will be given to candidates able to teach in both English and French immediately; active competence in both languages will be a condition of tenure for the person selected for the position.
