Pending final administrative clearance, Macalester College herewith solicits applications or a one-year sabbatical replacement at the assistant professor level for the academic year 2013-2014 to teach linguistics in general, but laboratory phonetics in particular, to students at a liberal arts college located in Saint Paul, MN. Familiarity with laboratory phonetics and ability to lead and conduct laboratory-based research and knowledge of the International Phonetic Alphabet is essential. Previous experience in a small liberal arts college setting (whether as a student or a teacher) is desirable. |
