Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel: The recently established Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences is seeking to fill a tenure-track, open rank, faculty position, with a start date of (not later then) October 1, 2013 in linguistics. We are seeking candidates interested in an interdisciplinary approach to the study of language, combining a strong background in theoretical linguistics with active research in one or more of the following fields: language acquisition, language processing, computational modelling of language and neurolinguistics. Successful individuals are expected to establish an independently funded research program that synergizes with the interests of other members of the cognitive and brain science community at BGU, to contribute to the teaching effort in the department, and to cooperate with collegues in the linguistics department of BGU.
