The Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia invites applications for the position of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of French with a strong online learning component, beginning Fall 2013. Duties include the creation and successful delivery of online courses and curricula at the graduate and undergraduate levels, traditional classroom instruction, and, in time, facilitation of parallel online programs in other languages. Ph.D. in French required at time of appointment, native or near-native fluency in French and English, and an active research agenda in online learning. Relevant skills for Web development are expected, including text encoding and use of design software. Review of applications will begin on December 3, 2012, and continue until the position is filled.
